I've been using the GD wash method for about 6 months now and I'm convinced it's the way to go for me. I will concede that this method is not to be used on finishes with more than a coating of light dust and dirt but so far I haven't noticed any ill effects from this wash method. My average time to do an average two door car is about 25 minutes, 1 gallon of water and about an once of Infinite Use Juice. Saves time, water and money. It's hard to beat.
 
Are you guys doing the GD wash media with a "rinseless or waterless wash" product like the IUDJ or ONR or UWW?

Or are you filling up your bucket with wash solution like Duragloss 901 or any traditional soap but instead of using a grout sponge or Mitt just using multiple towels that you never use during the same wash?

GD method works with any quality waterless wash. I use ONRWW. About the only thing I would use it on is a muddy car or one that has a lot of debris on it. Simple dust and dirt no problem with the RIGHT TECHNIQUE you will not marr the finish.
 
The two bucket technique is necessary on soiled body panels. I would never touch a porsche with a waterless or wash less system is heavily soiled. If used correctly the bucket system works. I use two mitts. One for upper body panels and one for lower. It's full proof in my opinion.
 
Detailingdoc I use this system with ONRWW. I don't use waterless wash to do my whole DD, just door jams and under hood.
