Acidic Wheel Cleaners

Thanks so how long should I leave it on the rim? Just long enough to scrub it?
 
Meg's Chrome Wheel Cleaner works similar to Wheel Bright and is available OTC. It can really get some hardcore gunk off a wheel. It's best not to let it dry on the wheel - do a section, then rinse well.

Eagle One - I don't know. Meg's I trust does their R&D. While the E1 stuff may clean really well - who knows how safe it is for the wheel, or how much of what is really in it?

I'd stick with a known reputable brand like Meg's. Who wants to risk damaging wheels?
 
I have P21s, don't know about S100 what is that the gel version?

To date: Haven't you used the P21S on your chrome wheels?

You can run over to your local H-D dealership and pick up a bottle of the S100 wheel cleaner. It's less expensive than the P21S version.

Thanks for all the help, I will definitely remember this year to clean the chrome rims prior to putting them away.
