Another quick question for people who have used both.... CG Acrylic Blitz or V7. I have two black cars and will be using ez cremeans glaze topped by butter wax, wondering which one to use between treatments after washing. I like to keep things in the family it usually works better for me that way. Thanks guys.

For after washes, I prefer V7 since it doesnt haze up and needs to be wiped away.

As stated CG Acrylic Blitz hazes a bit and is buffed off. I prefer HV7...just alittle easier. HV7 is a nice drying aid. They both work well.

I would vote for V7. It's much easier to use than Blitz.

Not a fan of Blitz, you may as well just apply a normal wax.

Blitz does act more like a spray wax w/ the haze and all, which I did not mind and really liked until I tried the V7. The V7 just has a brighter shine IMO and easier to use as a drying agent, just keep it off of the windows.

Why keep off the windows, just curious as to why, the chemical guy website said it is good for windows. Have you had a bad experience with windows ?

V7 easy to use (on everything except the front windshield for me)

Haven't used the Blitz but I have the BL/V7 combo and do like the V7 for sure. Sounds like the Blitz is more of a spray wax, like AW but I know this, AW works flawlessly on glass, as well as the rest of the car for sure. I really plan on using the V7 w/ BL anyways, the combo is made to work together, right!

Do tell. What seems to be the issue?

I have a virgin (giggity) bottle that's about to be put to use tomorrow. I have OCD when it comes to glass/window, so I'm all ears.

Just plain cleaning with no coating, on the rear window I never need the wiper anymore.
I'm sure it's okay to use on the front windshield, just don't want to have night vision obscured with streaks caused by the wipers. Polished it a while ago because the previous owner took poor care of it, looked like it went thru a sandstorm with the wipers on.

Others might have good luck with it, will try the passenger side as a test.

Hey Steve you really should V7 the front windshield while you are doing your V7 application. I have always done mine and have never had any streaking problems with it. Just be sure you are giving the windshield a bit more TLC when removing it.

I just drove from Vegas to Kingman Arizona the other night to see my dad as he was passing through (OTR truck driver). Anyhow, the drive was 2 hours and I drove through the desert with all kinds of different lighting conditions. No light, street light, oncoming headlights, you name it. I did not have a problem with the V7 being on the window.

Howdy Mike,
I'll try it on the passenger side(wife's side), after polishing the whole front and rear windows with Diamondite the results were perfect following BobbyG's writeup.:props:

Can the HV7 be used like DG Aquawax, in that you can spray it on the wet surface after washing as you dry?
