Hello Team Members;

I can't wait until I to meet you guys. I know it's going to be a very rewarding experience. It's like being a kid waiting on Christmas to see what wonderful & exciting things are going to happen throughout the day. I room full of Detailers, a great car & Mr. Phillips, what more can a Detailer ask for.

But I wouldn't call Mike Santa in this situation, he'd be more like the Micheal Jordan of Detailing.

Hey; has anyone gotten a call or email from the producers yet? Would like to make sure I focus my time on the show & not worry about other things.

I'm actually enjoying a Home Run Inn pizza right now, one of the very few thin crusts I really like🍕

O'Hare is the airport, not a town or city, just an FYI. As far as pizza is concerned you can't go wrong with Lou Malnati's or Giordono's🍕🍕

As far as why your coming over from I-80 goes surely it's not about being on tv but I could see how my comment would be taken but you could see how and why I might think that as well. I'd like to be around something like this or Detail Fest but I don't think I could ever swing it, so that's why I'm looking forward to seeing this new TV show.

The Volo isn't really all that great to be honest, the movie cars are hacked but the military collection IS pretty awesome! I'd say check out the Klaremont Kollection on the north side of the city, closer for sure and a higher quality of cars too!

Enjoy your time here 👈

Thank you for all the suggestions! I should have probably wrote
"Hilton at O'Hare" to be more clear. Specially since I have no clue as to were I am actually going. I will definitely look into that car collection and let the rest of the guys know also. Thanks again for all your local knowledge!

Congrats to all on the team!

This is quite a group, we must have our work cut out for us! Can't wait to meet everyone and get to work.

Tom P?? Is that my Polish brother Tom from class??? Will be great to see you again.

Counting down the days!

Rob Z

Congrats to the entire teams well!!

Yes - it's that Tom :)))

Looking forward to seeing you again, Rob (and the rest of the team) !

Sweet!!

Im counting down the days can't wait. Any of you guys staying at least till Friday? I'm staying for the Friday opening so I can see the car on display. I'd be interested in seeing that car Kollection Klasse speaks of. Lots to do around the convention center Rivers Cassino, Hofbrauhaus house and more. That whole corner has built up after I left Chitown a little over three years ago. Plenty to have fun for us out of towners. Stoked to come home for this.

The World of Wheels car show opens to the public on Fiday March 4th. I assume the car that we detail will be on display, at least I hope.

WOW...lots of new names here for this😶

Without looking not sure how far Rochelle is the from the greater Chicagoland area but maybe some of you guys can come out to our next get together...whenever that's going to be:grouphug:

I am about 20ish miles south of Rockford and 10ish miles west of dekalb. If that don't help google maps says I am 1.5 hours from Rosemont

Not sure yet but I will make a post for it soon. Its not going to be anything major though, been there, done that.

Hey everyone;

I am so excited to share with you that I'm going to be one of the members on the new show Compition Ready, hosted by Mr. Mike Phillips himself.

This is truely an honor for me to be working with one of if not the greatest Detailer ever. A detailers dream come true.

Hi Chris,

Very happy you can be a part of this project.

Can't wait to meet all these Chicago guys at our next detail day or gathering.

So, how did it go????

It's was the best. I meet a great group of detailers, had fun, learned some things & got the chance of a life time to work Mike.
Of course it was a long day, but we didn't realize how long until it was over.

Attended the competition ready episode in Chicago yesterday and it was a great experience. From working with Mike and AJ , to the film crew and all the other top notch detailers in attendance. Had a blast would do it again in a heartbeat. Great teamwork and comraderie. We were able to use new McKee 37 products, and soon will be able to review a few for all the forum peeps. Also great to meet some new colleagues, and now call them friends. Thanks to everyone for making it a rewarding experience.

Jared
