This was the customer from today. The color was the same as my old blue GXP so I knew it had a lot of potential to look awesome. The outside was in some pretty rough shape so I busted out my Menzerna FG-400 on a white pad to get a good amount of cut and still be able to finish with a nice shine. The interior needed some work as well. I forgot to take pictures of the crayon that was on the headliner but I was able to get it all out. Enjoy

U would need like five pro heats for that . What was this person thinking. Maybe you can do an interior clean in the future with lots of folex =)

How in the world do you trash a car that bad? It amazes me every time I do one that is trashed like that. That thing was hammered inside and out. Great job

Finish turned out great, the blue really shines.
Nice job, interior must have been a lot of work.

I hit the interior spots with CG Fabric Clean several times and the ones that were left weren't budging unfortunately ,

Very nice job.

Thanks!

Thanks. If I got an easy car I wouldn't know what to do with it lol.

Nice job, interior must have been a lot of work.

Thanks. Interior took roughly 2 hours. The car had been repainted at some point so I was switching pads and polish a lot.

WOW! That thing was FILTHY! Nice turn around! I gotta try FG-400.

Omg was that thrashed! Nice work turning it around.

Thanks for the post, very nice results. I want to correct my wife's '03 MDX this spring and am trying to decide on the process. Did I read correctly that this was done in one step? Thanks

Great job, how long did it take you overall? And how much did you charge the owner? Just wondering.

What a turnaround.

I know it's hard for auto enthusiasts to understand how a person could treat their vehicle so poorly, but some people really just don't care--regardless of how much they spent on it. But, I suspect some folks don't know the damage they've done until they take a step back and say "holy crap!" Then, they find a detailer like the OP who somehow makes things right. I hope the owner maintains it better this time around.

Thanks everyone. Total time was between 9 to 10 hours. I used FG400 on a white pad for most of the car. The passenger side was hit with FG400 on a orange pad and then followed with FG400 on a white pad. I would start out at speed 6 on my Flex 3401 then bump down to speed 4 for the last few passes. I also was using hybrid pads. I charged $220 for this detail.

Great save! That thing was trashed!
