I just purchasd a 2007 acura tl from a auction. The car has the light gray interior and rug and the car is absolutely filthy on the inside. What OTC Apc or products can i use that will be safe on the interior.. Leather, panels, dash and carpets. Need to buy everything local

I have heard good things about Folex for the carpets. I have yet to try it, as I am using up my 303 Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner, but it can be picked up at Home Depot.

Folex is great for carpet with no residue left behind. Great for mildly dirty carpet. I use it every time I clean interior of my cars for quick touch ups between shampooing carpets.

+2 on Folex. A lot of people on AGO have done some amazing work with Folex (search "Folex" and you'll see). It's biodegradable, non-toxic, etc. One of its biggest advantages is that it doesn't need to be rinsed out and won't cause re-soiling (like an APC will). The manufacturer claims it can be used on "Upholstery, Clothing, Draperies, Car Interiors, Walls, Woodwork, Floors..." It works on all levels of dirt and can be used out of the bottle or in an extractor--it's very gentle, yet crazy effective.

It's definitely your best bet all-around and can be found in 36 oz bottles at Lowe's/Home Depot very easily. It's one of the best cleaners you will find OTC or online anywhere.

HD only carries the 32oz

Yes but for treating even a couple vehicles the 32oz. is more than enough.

I had a 2005 TL. Same car. Depending on how dirty it is, just forget it if you're not willing to buy anything online. Because then I'd doubt you're willing to actually put the extra effort it requires to use OTC only. If you get Meguiars D101 APC then you're set for leather and almost anything else. You can get Meguiars Quik Interior Detailer OTC. I had a tan interior and although you might not want to buy it, the Leatherique system brought back my leather from 95,000 miles of never being cleaned. Honestly though, if you get Folex and D101 you don't need anything else. D101 is cheap too.
