This is a 10 year old Acura TL DD with over 140K plus MA miles. It's owned by a good friend who also owns his own mechanics shop. Prior to being his primary car, it was his wife's primary car and kid hauler.
On the outside: The car went through a car wash a few times over life span. But that's about it. Clear-coat on all horizontal surfaces was oxidized, and it didn't even shine. Because of this, I took many paint measurements and did less section passes. It was very thin, down to 90 microns on some parts. Some areas on the roof has little rust blisters and each body panel has some kind of cosmetic damage (due to parking lots, kids playing in driveway, etc..)
On the inside: it' is used to haul auto parts, and being a mechanic, there was a lot of grease transfer from clothing, hands, etc to interior.
Despite all this it came out great. I wasn't able to get the deep scratches out, none the less, he was thrilled and felt it was like getting a new car!
I have a lot of before shots, but will forgo. Also it was 37 degrees out, and the garage was occupied by a garage queen, thus hypothermia was setting in.
