Not that the Legacy GT has a bad looking engine without these covers. Far from it. This looks pretty darn good I think:

However, things can always improve. I bought some engine covers that are used on the Legacy in Japan. I've always felt that they would be an improvement, and man these things are a huge improvement in the engine bay. I can't wait for next saturday when I get to show these off at a meet. Check em out!

That matte finish is thanks to Poorboy's Bold N Bright. Since CD2 is pretty much impossible to find around here, I figured it was time to try something new. It isn't the same shiny wet look as CD2, but I'm not complaining. This looks great too!

now all of those painted to the body color *drool*

I've actually seen it before and I'm not a fan of it on the Legacy. Some covers look good that way, but with this color and this particular engine bay they look better black. I thought about it and decided against it.

Are these engine covers only made for the LEGACY?? Or is there a site to buy.....??

These are OEM engine covers for the Japanese Subaru Legacy. They still fit all other versions. They wouldn't fit on any other car.

I had to have them. It drove me nuts knowing there were parts made for the car that had holes ready for them to be installed and everything, and yet they didn't come on my car. I'm not really big on performance mods anymore. If I wanted a car that went faster or drove better than this one, then I would have bought one. I'm all about the bling now. :D

should be much easier to keep up, and tidy to boot.

That looks awesome, very classy yet OEM. And that last pic was icing on the cake.

Photoshop????

I thought he had polished the hood so much it was wafer thin and transparent. :D :D :D
