Been "in business" for a few months now we great results. I have a few weekly maintenance customers including a P12 Maclaren. Absolute joy to work on... And do about 3 vehicles a week without use of aggressive advertising. Basically word of mouth and google.

Being in the Northeast I expect business to slow up/change as the snow begins to fly.

Anyone do remote car starter installs? I have installed countless car audio systems and feel I am pretty good with electrical work.

Any one have experience doing this type of add-on work? Is it worth it?

Thanks for any input!

with all of the electronics in cars these days, its risky to say the least. but if you are experienced, can deal with the constantly changing, incredibly advanced technology in most vehicles these days, and have good liability insurance along with good legal paperwork, go for it. problem is, messing up the electronics on todays vehicles could cost a fortune. somebody has to do it, so it cant be that difficult.

Remote starters are very risky to get into these days. A completely different dog than audio systems. They can really screw up some of the new cars. I have more requests to take them off than put them on. I'd advertise audio over remote start systems.
