Addition to the Stable

Well after almost a week of driving the new truck, I found the tires that came on it SUCK.
So I have an appt Friday morning for new tires to go on.

Seems wasteful, but I thoroughly believe that performance starts with a good set of tires.

I will post pics!

Stay tuned :D

Absolutely. No amount of performance will matter without proper traction for the conditions.

Congrats on the truck from a fellow ranger owner.

Yes. THE MOST IMPORTANT PART of a vehicle is TIRES. That is all you have between you and the road.

New sneakers put on yesterday.
Gave the truck a quick rinse off as well :xyxthumbs:

I normally do not, but with all the construction and roads being garbage around me lately, I opted for the road hazard warranty.

I now have some miles on the Ranger. Had a few highway drives over last week.
Gotta say I love the ride!

Smooth, responsive and just a great, comfortable ride. Definitely happy with it.
A nice surprise feature I love for a long drive is the ACC. man, that is great on a long highway drive when you get around other cars :xyxthumbs:

That really IS a great feature. No worrying about tapping the brake and then re-engaging the CC. That's such a pain in the ass........

Congrats on your new truck. I really like the color and it
will really pop when you give it some care.
You know, I really like the wheels as well, one of the best looking
factory wheels.

I’m not super-tech driven, but I did enjoy this feature.

Thx and I agree! I really like the wheels :xyxthumbs:

Tomorrow I am getting a tonneau cover installed...

Realized on my road trip over the weekend that if we go anywhere with the hounds there is no room for our bags/luggage/etc.
I was thinking of getting one anyway... some really nice ones out there.

I will post pics!

For sure. You have a truck, you got to cover the bed! Anybody want a full bed of snow in the winter? I also installed a bed extender. Great for keeping items from rolling around in the bed. It can be flipped to carry longer items. And removed all together.

I went a year without one. Until I went on vacation this summer and realized I had no room to bring stuff to and from.

Which did you go with?

Only good thing about the snow in the bed is good traction :xyxthumbs:
