Adjusting foam cannon

Hi guys, looking for some help with the foam cannon. What does the dial on top do.

It seems to adjust the amount of foam, is it not for pressure as well? Sounds like a dumb question I know, just wanted to confirm that I'm using it correctly.

I believe it adjust the water to solution mixture .

Water to foam ratio.
Should have no effect on pressure output

Good question. No instructions with purchase! Which adjustment gives most foam?

Got it working the way i need it now, thanks for the help. What would you recommend for a pre soak.
