ADS Quartz applied to the EN!

Klasse,
Just curious. Is this the 1st coating you have applied to the Hyundai? If not how long has it been since you had applied a previous coating? Was a previous applied coating beginning to show signs of diminishing?

I can't speak for it on ADS' own coating, but it works great on Gyeon's coatings. I just killed off a bottle of Amplify and really liked it.
Just finished off a bottle today as well. Amplify is a remarkable product, it's acts like a traditional detail spray rather than a ceramic detailer.

Don't you have to be a "pro" to get their pro version?

Oh, I see...I never looked at their pro coating because I figured you had to be a certified installer, but the ADS website says this:

"Armour PRO Quartz Coating is available to consumers, however, we are providing a top tier professional coating on the consumer level. To gain access to Armour PRO each applicant will go through a quick "vetting" process to determine their readiness for this level of coating. Please apply here to gain an approved account!"
All they want to know is that you're not making ADS Pro your first ever coating. I did it via email... on a Sunday. I'll respect the process and do a quick call with them before I apply it though.

They're working hard to create a strong brand. They're onto V2 for some of their products already with new stuff still to come.

Well I did clean the EN today, after my dealership visit (simple ECU update for the HPFP). For the first RW I had to use ADS Hero and it came out great, ofcoarse, since it's so new

The beads were small and tight when doing the pre-treating and after cleaning each section it dried SUPER easy! Now that there's no dust AND it's outside and clean, the gloss looks even better

I also treated all exterior glass with CarPro Clarify Phobics, so if there's any rain it's not going to stand a chance, BEST glass cleaner of this type (in the world dare I say)

It now sits till early tomorrow morning when I head to The Tail of the Dragon I missed last year, first miss since 2003 but it feels like 5 years, I CAN'T WAIT TO GET DOWN THERE ️The EN barks SO MUCH with that larger mid-pipe and NO RESONATOR, people will hear me coming

Thank you VERY MUCH and I will

I was there when the EN was about 7 monthes old, bone stock and it had 1 single backfire pop, different story this time around, too bad I don't have my tune on the car but to be honest, it doesn't need anymore power for those roads, I don't have the balls or skill to go 10/10ths, I do have common sense though, not as much fun but 7-8/10ths is plenty enough

Now "per the directions" it says you can use ADS Amplify on the paint to "protect it" during the curing process and since today was the first RW on the car (ADS Hero) I might as well use another ADS product in my collection to do just that, I mean it does a fresh 3 coats of ADS Ghost on the tires

Last thing I have left to use on the freshly coated paint is ADS Shampoo, it will need it after about 2,000 miles...stay "tuned"

Enjoy the Dragon! Hopefully that area is recovering quickly from Hurricane Helen. They took quite a beating in that area.

I emailed Killboy and he said the area around the Dragon is good

Well, this thread made up my mind, Armour Detail Supply Quartz on the way.
Congrats Deyon

Now which one will it be, regular or Pro?

I just went for the regular version, on a garage queen it will easily outlive the 3-year claim anyway.

You'll be blown away with the application Deyon! I did it inside at about 80 degrees and it flashed in about 2 minutes.

I have ask, is this going on the S650

I think so.

I think so.
Here's my prediction...ALL your cars get coated, then you use Pro on the Ranger, then on family vehicles

Sounds like ADS is really living up to the hype and is now a brand on par with the top tier brands.

Most of their products are USA made, with the coatings coming from Asia. That seems to be common these days.
