Advanced Detailing: Audi A6
A friend of mine picked up this A6 used from the dealer, after it was driven by one of the managers.
It was in pretty decent shape but in the right lighting the swirls were evident.
I did have a hard time getting the swirls to show up in the pics but i think you still get a good idea of what it looked like.
I used the same swirl remover-finishing polish combo from HiTemp with 3M white, black and blue pads.
Topped off with P21 100% carnauba wax.

50/50 shot, not a straight line but you can see where i stopped polishing.
This was only after the swirl remover

The last few weeks we've had rain every afternoon which limits my after pics because of the lack of sunlight.

Great job...that's my excact car and color combo...was thinking of trying the wolfgang products but I have some water spot etching on the roof. What would you recommend?

I have the Wolfgang combo but haven't used it in awhile.
The combo i've been using lately is not sold on AG so i don't mention it but i have had very good results with 3M s/r and ultrafine polishes.
Also Menz SIP and 106 have worked greatly for me .
I know everyone has been using 105/205 lately, i just haven't had a need to try those yet.

Looks great. the rims go really well with the car

Nice job, boy you can see the metal flakes pop after your detail.. looks
great.

Too bad i had little daylight left because of the clouds that day, you would have seen the flakes pop better otherwise.
The rims he put on immediately after purchasing the car.

Menz SIP worked on RIDS? I had trouble , maybe my technique.
