Anyone tried the new advanced finishing polish
I will be working on soft Toyota paint
thoughts

Really thinking about trying afp. I have used optimum finishing polish in the past and my car never looked so good. But with my Toyota the optimum just sticks to it and I thaught the afp would work better.

Here's what I posted recently to this thread,

Finishing Polish For A Beginner

See post #1 and my reply in post #5 to see the full context but here's the pertinent portion in post #5

About one week ago I buffed out the Plexiglas window on a 1965 Corvette Hardtop. I started with Meguiar's PlastX but it left micro-marring. I then tired a number of polishes, may 6, 7 or 8 products. The ONLY polish that finished out perfect was the Pinnacle Advanced Finishing Polish.

Also my boat class removed the windshield off the two center console boats I had here for the class. Both were scratched and swirled. They tried buffing with PlastX and while it removed the swirls and scratches it left micro-marring in the plastic. Pinnacle Advanced Finishing Polish removed the micro-marring and left perfect results.

Pretty darn bubba-proof.

I have LOT going on today and tomorrow with new product reviews, car projects, new videos and scheduling roadshow classes but I'll create a thread and show what I did with the Pinnacle Advanced Finishing Polish AFTER trying 6, 7 maybe 8 different other polishes - all of which left micro-marring in the plastic.

BIG PICTURE is this - if it's safe enough for soft plastic, (and old school Plexiglas is very soft plastic), it's safe enough for soft paints and actually... any paint.

Here you go....

I tell the story here,

Polishing Plexiglas to be as clear as glass using Pinnacle Advanced Finishing Polish

I have used Pinnacle Advanced Finishing Polish on two
Hondas and it works great.

AFP is my go-to finishing polish. It works very well on soft Acura silver and hard Audi black.

Thank you all. Just that little push I needed. Iam going to order afp and asr.

PAFP is all I have used over the last 12 months on my 4 cars that have a variety of paint hardness (M4, CaymanS, Lex IS350 n F150); all with excellent results
