First, This forum might benefit from a section titled. "Advice Wanted/Needed".
Today, I had a client/friend come to me today with his 1999 BMW 750 IL (V12 engine - ohhh). It is, in his words, "My baby". His daughter thought she would play "wash daddy's car" and took a nylon brush to the paint. It is a real mess. (sorry no pics at this time). Horrifying to be exact.
I have yet to correct a BMW from this year and I don't really know how hard 1999 BMW paint is. Any ideas? It is black, so it shows everything. The trunk is the worst of it, but, except for the roof, it is heavily scratched. If it was my car, I would have cried.
I told him that I could most likely remove a good bit of the damage, but it was so bad in some places that it was 50/50 in those areas. He wants me to give it a try.
Any advice would be welcome.
Thanks,
