I've lived all over Michigan, but currently live in Jackson. Born in Saginaw, moved to Traverse City (where I lived most of my life), then Grand Rapids and finally settled in Jackson. Jackson is okay (short drive to The Big House), but I want to get back up north. Not to TC, but somewhere on the other side of the state. TC is a mess and, to me, isn't very inviting anymore. Though, I do love Benzie/Leelanau areas. Oh, and GO BLUE!
Thanks again, everyone. This site is quite awesome with all the info. I start getting into one video and have to start watching another right away. Same goes for articles. Much to learn.
Drive North, pay the $4 and then go West. Stop before you get to Wisconsin. I live in Northville which is also a short drive to the People's Republic of Ann Arbor. (I am a Husky by undergrad but my Master's made me a Husky-Wolverine which my mother thought was hysterical when she coined it)
It is a challenge keeping cars clean in this state but worth the madness IMHO. Just tonight I spent around 4 hours on my car. The dealer put it through the clearcoat ruiner.
Part of my garage ceiling collapsed and I mitigated and cleaned it up and power washed the garage floor so that is a perfect reason for a 3 step correction, right?
I used McKee's 37 in a foam gun (because as noted above, foam guns are cool. So washed it.
Baggie test was a total failure.
Used a Sonax clay disc. AWESOME!
Lake country Orange with Meg's 101. (cuts as good as 105 but somehow with less dust although there is dust and it works fine with a machine)
Lake Country White with Meg's 205
(there are loads of other compounds but 105(101)/205 is perfection to me so I stick with it)
I went over it with a bright spotlight and spot corrected anything else I found.
Coated it with Wolfgang Paint Sealant 3.0
Will probably put Fuizon over the WGPS tomorrow after it cures and I have to dress the trim and do glass. It'll look amazing till like Wednesday but it'll be really easy to wash. I did a lot back asswards but just felt like playing with the paint.
