Hey guys, my name is Jeremy and this is my first post on AG.

I use Meg's Wheel Brightener at 4:1 on most everyday drivers and dealer cars. A gallon really goes a Long way. I'm very happy with wheel brightener (and the entire detailer line for that matter), but what other products do you all suggest for higher end cars and exotics.

I need something that is

  • affordable (I like that meg's is dillutable)
  • non acid based (this is what I don't like about wheel brightener)
  • quickly cleans with minimal scrubbing
On a side note, what is a good affordable, polished aluminum wheel cleaner? Obiously Wheel brightener doesn't work for polished wheels.

Any suggestions help

Thanks!

If your gonna work on "higher end cars and exotics" spend the extra money on something like Sonax Full Effect Wheel Cleaner or P21S Wheel Cleaner, don't cheap out on a $100,000+ car. I use Meguiar's Wheel Brightner for clear coated daily driver wheels but thats about it. Oh yeah if you buy the Sonax in the gallon jugs its not nearly as expensive IMO

Really appreciate the advice. In an average week, I detail 5-10 cars which are mostly daily drivers. Wheel brightener really works great for the average neglected car, and a gallon seems to last forever at 4:1. I just feel that wheel brightener is a little overkill and dangerous to use on car worth $50,000 or more. Thanks for the advice. I think I'll try a gallon of Sonax.
