AG foam gun vs foam cannon...my experience

1) basically about the same. depeding on the soap and how much you use it will vary as well as your pressure washer...

2) with the foam gun, you can spray each panel and follow with the wash media as it flushes away the soap/dirt not leaving it on the surface...

2) I'm still not sure why you are saying a foam cannon is not capable of that?

@ihaveacamaro. I have wanted to try that foam gun technique thing you posted on the c5 thread. The guy that was using it to soak the area he was agitating with the wash mit. Did you ever get to try it out

Sorry Lime, honestly I do some much rinseless and waterless washes that I haven't pulled out my buckets in over 3 months!

there's no wrong way as long as you get the results you desire in the end (it's easier for me to use the foam gun in one hand while the wash media is in the other). i haven't used my foam cannon in many months and i might even trade it some day, we'll see. as long as one is happy with the outcome of his or her technique, then that's all that matters... :dblthumb2:

Oh I see what you mean! I've been confused this whole time lol Yeah that's probably not possible with the foam cannon. Good stuff!

Did you make this video? I have a question for you. At the beginning, it says a 50/50 mixture of soap/water is used at 1oz - 2oz/gallon. This isn't registering with me. 50/50 tells me 1oz. soap to 1oz. water, which would get very expensive, very fast. 1oz. soap to 1gal. water would be 1/128, which seems like it might be too watered down compared to what others are saying with 2oz - 3oz soap / 32oz water. Can you comment on what ratio you use of soap to water in your foam gun? I'd like to get a foam gun but doing 50/50 mixture means ~$10 in product per car wash.

no, that's not my video (paintcare-n-detailing.com) . another option is to fill up an empty one gallon water jug and mix it with 3-5 ounces of soap and adjust if necessary. that way you don't have to keep filling up the canister...

Which foam gun is this? I want to buy one but I don't want to mistakenly get the foam cannon.
