AG... I'm sorry but this relationship isn't working... It's all your fault!

You need to explain your not washing the car you are detailing it. For most of us detailing is a hobby and for some a way to make some extra money on the side. If you ever feel like you are spending too much money on your car stuff just check the prices on some of your girl's handbags and you will feel like you are not spending enough.

This is a good idea.

I was planning on detaling the girlfriends Neon the other day again by myself when I asked her if she'd like to help, she said okay.

Little did she know I'd be giving her a Rupes LHR15ES to play with. She did a perfectly swirl free one step first try. I only had to help her on two sections with some questions she had. The other 15 or so she did all by herself and did them perfectly.

I plan on having her help me again in the future.

I am glad this post has allowed many to express their inner most feelings, basically group therapy. But we should all remember what goes on in forums, stays in the forums... Geekfest could be a blood fest if this ever gets out :)

The best way i've found to stop the wife from asking too many questions is to get REAL technicial on the stuff yougot, and the stuff you need....like this......

"Do you really need that? You got 7 bottles of wax already."

But just in case she decides to hear you out, you beter memorize it.
 
^^^If I get super detailed with reasons I get even more eye rolls and reasons I am not able to purchase. I just make a wish list and when birthdays, father's day, anniversary, etc. come around I ask for it.

To the OP, AG may not have the best deals or ship the fastest or return calls at the drop of a hat (tho sometimes they do), nothing can compete IMHO with this community.

For that reason, I will be a "lifer" with AGO.
