AG Shipping Fed EX

My Fedex driver just drops my packages off, no signature req'd. It's never been an issue.... because I've sorted this out with them already.

This isn't an Autogeek problem. This is something that needs to be sorted out with Fedex or your Fedex driver.

Make an account at Fedex, register your delivery address and you can turn signature requirements on/off. Same with UPS, for anything coming from them.

I have acct's with USPS, UPS, and Fedex and each will allow you to set things such as delivery notifications, and signature requirements, for your packages, no matter who they are coming from. No need to have each store get involved or make any special calls or notes.

I'm not sure why anyone would think this is Autogeek's responsibility..... How the heck would they know whether somebody require's a signature or not for packages being delivered?

If you live in a busy city, no way would I want a package just left.... living out in the sticks, sure, leave it on the porch, no problem, but how would Autogeek know this?!?

so i've called fedex numerous times and keep getting the run around and still no resolution and more excuses on their behalf (we're investigating, blah, blah, etc,). from this point on i'm going to request a signature (i would recommend everyone do this so you don't go through this headache i've experienced) so they can't pull this type of nonsense again (look on YT and you'll see they do this quite often). i would rather deal with UPS now as i've never dealt with kind of problem before (still not the greatest but better than fedex) with them. thanks to AG for taking care of the situation, it is sincerely appreciated!

here is an example, paste this (below) in the search on youtube...

I have made accounts with FedEx, and it doesn't matter. They do what they want to.

Correct it's not AG's responsibility. But with FedEx being so dis-organized, it much easier for me to use a company that let's me choose my shipping source. There..... not AG's problem now.

well, well, well...

i just got in the front door and a family member said a lady just dropped off my package and mentioned she had just gotten back from out of town and received it by mistake. i also have a door tag (was on top of the box) that reads in the driver's writing most likely (written sloppy i might add)... " Package possibly misdelivered yesterday ", and they wrote the street address on it wrong and then crossed it out and wrote the correct address. seriously, fedex? it's funny how he/she remembered where they delivered my package to the wrong address when he/she said they delivered to the "correct" address in the first place. don't know how they hire some of these incapable employees that can't read street signs and/or numbers (drivers should be re-examined every year). unfortunately, i'm sure this sort of thing happens all the time and fedex takes no responsibilities for their employees actions. i hope this doesn't happen to anyone else on here. unbelievable...

I posted a bad experience earlier in the thread, but let's not get out of hand and let this thread become accusatory to members.

Each delivery company in question has fans & detractors, I'm sure. And as mentioned many times above, I'm sure it varies by area, personnel, or even a given climate.

AG is damned if they do, and damned if they don't on this one.
