What is the difference? I know they are part of the same group, similar web sites, etc.

Think of them as "Soylent Green" and "People".....except in a good way, lol.

As far as the forums go I would say both are frequented by pros and hobbyists alike who are knowledgeable and eager to share that knowledge with the rest of us. Many people are members of both forums and cross post.

The main difference that I notice is that Mike, Nick and others associated directly with AG both as a product store and as detail instructors post here often and by so doing they provide a level of expertise that is hard to find at most dedicated subject forums. Also, I believe there are at least three times more the number of posts on any given day here at AG.

Are they both in FL? I tried looking at their contact info and it didn't say.

I look over there, but post here. Todd is very active on the forums though. He does great product evaluations. (Not reviews, but the most recent one I saw was wax quality explained.)

They have different sales on different products. So its a win win for the consumer. I made my 1st order with Autopia this black friday because of the deals they had on Blackfire products. I noticed that site is very Blackfire topic heavy. Which is useful to me, because i have and use a lot of BF products.

Which is which?
Palm Beach Motoring Group's subsidiaries are more far-reaching than just Autopia-Car-Care.

I'd bet they're all listed "on the books" at a Government entity similar to the
Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.

I find it interesting; and, being that I'm a somewhat curious guy:
What's the deal with: 617 Central Parkway, LLC.

I don't agree, because imo Todd is just as qualified as Mike and
Nick on AG. AG gets more hits because of noobies. Autopia was bought to have a web site where all detailing products can be discussed freely without the thread being closed.

A few months ago I found a box of old receipts, and what you typed there sounded familiar. Sure enough, I have a receipt that's over 10 year old from:

The Autogeek - Pinnacle Car Care
Central Parkway Business Center
617 S. E. Central Parkway, Unit 117
Stuart, FL 34994

So I guess that name is a throwback to the roots or something.

And back then I guess there wasn't yet an Autogeek.net, since the receipt lists The Autogeek website address as pinnaclewax.com

Autogeek has a page with some of Max's story on it. It tells how he started out with DP as his first in house brand. Then he became co-owner of Pinnacle (at that time). I don't know the whole story. Seems to be a rather successful business and rightfully so with their outstanding marketing and over the top customer care/service. Just go to the Wolfgang product page at the store and you can read some of it there.

Guys I think we are talking about a different autopia here. Autopia.org is owned by 3D.

Autopia.org is a whole different animal. Not near as many posters, but much heavier laden with high level pro's with elite level experience.

.
Not me...
In an earlier post I even wrote out the entire name:
Autopia-Car-Care...a PBMG subsidiary.

;)

Which post makes you think they're talking about that site?

None particularly, I just skimmed through the thread and assumed it was the case. :) Guess I should have read the whole thread!

Bob to answer your question, 617 Central Parkway LLC is our real estate division for Palm Beach Motoring Group. That corporation holds all of our real estate for PBMG.
