AG wash buckets and grit guards

are you referring to the little bumps on the outside ring? because my will not fit all the way to the bottom of the bucket, as the picture with the brush underneath the grit guard is how mine fits, but if i use a different bucket it fits all the way to the bottom.

Yes , those are the bumps. Hit those with a file to smooth them out. Now my guard doesn't fall to the bottom but you can at least push it down now. I like the guard to be a little snug anyway. Sometimes clear plastic (thats what I have) will shrink after the molding process a little more than a colored plastic. If you still don't like the fit take Nick up on his offer and switch to a colored bucket. Good luck

Yes I tried it with the file, and it made a little difference. The guard actually dropped about 1/2 inch more but not all the way to the bottom of the bucket
I think somewhere somebody QC was overlooked.

Plastic molded parts have a lot of variables and depending on the combination of what your trying to fit there can be some interference. Once you filed the "bumps" you should be able to

push the gg to the bottom. My plan is to keep it in there. I rinse my buckets up side down with the hose and I don't have problem getting them clean.
