I received my packages all the way to Dubai today and I would just like to thank AGO, especially Nick and Christine who were a tremendous help and really made my day! I would also like to thank Christine for talking to me on the phone and making my order a success (due to backorders)....to my surprise, these were shipped to me at no cost :wow: - need I say more?

I opened my box(es) to an amazing array of goodies (apart from my actual order), which were part of the free gift.... and a load of samples + calendar...and I must say - totally worth the shipping to Dubai!! :dblthumb2:

So....Thank you guys for your awesome customer service and for just being awesome overall.

As for regular order of business - do they tax you like mad over there?

I've sent stuff to a friend in Brazil. A 4 lbs package. $132 (might even be more) for duties.... :bolt:

No tax/duties luckily, but my package is sent to NYC to a forwarder from AGO. I then pay the forwarder based on weight for my package to be sent to Dubai....

Lets just say it isn't cheap

Hey MJ, here we meet again. Well done on your order. I have 2 orders somewhere in the US (one is delivered and another is on the way), waiting to be shipped to me here in Saudi. The shipping cost is high, but luckily no taxes (for now) make it worthwhile.

Yes they are really high, I paid a total of AED 650 for my last order and AED 671 for the one before through Shop and Ship (aramex). It's still worth it as the products are either not available here (98% of the time) and if they are they are more than double the cost.

I am using Stackry to consolidate and forward them to me. It saves a bunch on shipping by minimising volume and weight, as this month I will have a minimum of 5 heavy boxes consolidated into 1.. Let me know if you need a referal link for Stackry (gives us both $10 off on our next parcels).
