AHHhhhhhhhh...Mexican Coca-Cola...

Ive bought a few bottles over the last week and it tastes much different than what is made here.

I used to get Dublin (Dublin TX) Dr. Pepper all the time. Made with real sugar made all the difference. DP had to go and kill it off. :( I wish I had stocked up on a few cases.

Dublin used to do the exchange the old glass bottles too. You could only do it at that plant though. It was a cool thing to go in and get an old glass bottle with it.

Costco has it for about 18 bucks a case. Nothing tastes better than Coke or butter in Mexico. The butter is better there for some reason also.

Yeah, I heard about this on Mexican radio...oh oh...oh oh (you have to be certain age to get that...Wall of Voodoo).

So do you like BBQ Iguana? And yes I am old enough to know Wall of Voodoo, hell I'm old enough to have seen Jimi Hendrix in concert!!!!

We do seem to have a lot of older members on this forum...another forum I used to frequent the majority of the members (when polled) were in the 18-25 range, IIRC...and they weren't even born when Wall broke up.

I haven't had a soda pop in years. There are enough calories in 1 12oz can of soda pop to make up 60% of your suggested daily intake

Are you only eating 233 calories a day? That's a hell of a diet!

I haven't had the Mexican Coke, but I fancy myself a Beverly...

If you haven't had it, you gotta try it!

:iagree: ...for those reading in the future, Flash probably meant the daily sugar intake...then again he was just making up numbers. LOL!!

Up until about a year ago I hadn't had a soda in almost 4 years. I drank water and could hardly stand the taste of a soda...much too sweet. I need to get back into that regimine.

Coke still uses and recycles glass bottles in Brazil, mostly at restaurants and bars. You'll see the big flat bed trucks driving around with thousands of empty bottles in the old school wooden crates. You won't find diet coke in brazil either. Just the regular coke (with cane sugar), which you can buy in plastic bottles and cans as well, and coke zero. Fanta is very popular there and uses cane sugar as well. Man, it is so much better!

Sams Club has the Fanta Orange and Coke in the Glass bottles. :dblthumb2:
