AIO without the wax

I just used DP Coating Prep Polish on my father silver Car yesterday. Cleaned it well and I could see embedded dirt on pad (and that was after wash, Iron-x and clay). I believe Nick did a review on it, and did it on a silver Honda I believe? Lifted a heck of a lot embedded dirt

What make is your car? Some whites have no clear coat.

F-150. I thought all cars were clear coat now.

Odd....Duragloss squeaky clean appears to be the only detailing product on earth not carried by Autogeek. My guess is they are being boycotted for not having a three digit number.

OP asks for AIO without the wax. Countless people suggest DG 501 lol.
If you're not correcting and don't want wax but want to clean the paint look no further than DG Squeaky clean or DP paint coating prep.

And could you please explain why you think DG501 is not a viable answer to the OPs quest for something that had no wax nor abrasives but cleans paint? I assume you dont think it was a good answer cause you put "lol" after saying people suggested it.

Well, DG 501 apparently is mildly abrasive. More of a jeweler's rouge for cars I suppose, but still...

On the other hand, DG Squeaky Clean doesn't seem to exist. I don't even see it on the DG website. Did they change the name, or decide not to market the product, or something?

Do you realize DG 501 is a sealant?

I should clarify that I want a non-abrasive cleaner, if there is such a thing. The car is still pretty new and I've been pretty conscientious about protecting the paint.

Also, I guess I should ask the preliminary question: If my white paint is in good enough condition it requires no polishing, should I use a cleaner on it at all?

Not unless you just have time and money to burn

One can always perform a test spot with a cleaner to see if any benefits are derived. I was pleasantly surprised at how much dirt Wolfgang PPE lifted off my vehicle last spring. I would have never known as the paint was very smoothe after claying.

Just sorta reviving for this post. Does anyone have an answer to this for DG SC? I know it's technically available by phone order, but is there a likely release date for regular distribution or availability?

Have used P21S paint cleanser and was quite impressed. Paint was super prepared for waxing after use. Topped with P21 S concours. Amazing results.

DG doesn't even have it on their own web site. My guess is they are still arguing on a three digit number to be assigned to it first. (Just kidding).

I'll probably go with a Four Star product I found. They have a good reputation and its a couple bucks cheaper than those named here and not abrasive.

Yep..I've noticed that as well. A few reviews are around from while ago that seemed to suggest a release date around that time, but nothing so far. There isn't a dedicated 'news' page either, so I guess the only info would be from the forums

Would any of these Cleaner get rid of minor swirls? If so, which one is best for this? Its a new truck so paint still looks shiny. Looking for a 1 step before I use a coating.

Thanks

You beat me to it:)
Yeah that would be the way to go:dblthumb2:

"Detailer’s Coating Prep Polish is a non-abrasive chemical polish that deep cleans automotive paint, ridding it of below-surface contaminants that will prevent a coating, paint sealant or wax from properly bonding.  Formulated without any silicones, waxes, sealants, polymers or fillers, Detailer’s Coating Prep Polish leaves nothing on the surface, making it the ideal polish to use before applying any product that requires a 100% oil and wax free surface."

Detailer’s Coating Prep Polish, best car polish

DP Coating Prep Polish.
Non-abrasive, just chemical cleaners. But I am not sure how well it removes embedded dirt.
