AIO's never get any love, but...

Uber AIO is on it's way. Just placed the order. Don't forget the code for additional discount.

Just talked with Nick about Uber AIO. He said it smells better than D151 (subjective), cuts more than D151, but has a learning curve.

With this product you have the option, like XMT 360, of working the product until it disappears.

I think you're correct in that i don't think DG501 has any abrasives. At least i don't see any "correction", even slight, with DG501 but this particular customer insisted early on he didn't want anything "reducing his clearcoat" despite my attempts at educating him. DG501 does do a fairly affective job at cleaning and leaving at least some protection for him and he likes it.

Thus the reason i am following this thread for some other's experience with an AIO. I am fairly confident i can convince him to change to something that yields better results. I've had my eye on the Uber AIO. I've never been a big fan of AIO's for the fact it's a compromise in all phases of intent. That is, how much protection can you get when you marry it with a light abrasive AND a cleaner? I am of the old school mentality that each of those efforts get their own dedicated step. The ole cleaner/conditioner shampoo argument.

I am pretty sure that 501 has some abrasives. I have used it for years in my boat and it cuts through mild oxidation like nobody's business.

Thanks Pat. Bill demonstrated on darker paint earlier the slight cut it has and i stand corrected.

And thanks again, Bill, i have seen the 501/601 combo comments. That is a popular approach but don't want to get too far off the single AIO topic for the OP. All awesome info thus far though and thanks a bunch.

(oh, wait...you're the op!). :xyxthumbs:

And you'll have your Uber first and before me so i would absolutely kill for you to give us your impressions of it! Please, pretty please??? I've certainly read enough on here from plenty of folks who have/are using it...enough that i am sure i want to try it...but i got a lot out of your Buick paint experiment between XMT 360 and DG 501/601 and with that under your belt would like to hear your impressions of the Uber AIO. It kinda cracked me up that your thread got into "nano" particles and such in DG. Not making light of something that may be true but it seems there are as many that think DG does have abrasives as those who don't.

Well, I have a busted wing at the moment with strict orders from the doc, so it may be a while.

I'll see what I can do. To be fair I don't have that car anymore so a new test panel would be needed...and I have a practice panel just for such tests.

Yes. In that thread I linked to and in this thread.

Again, that test and pics were produced to see which product cleaned the paint the best and made it shiny. Both removed stains very well and made the paint shine, which was my goal for the test. The amount of cut I realized a year later was just additional information I learned. No more, no less.

Ahhhh, sorry to hear that my friend. Hope your back to it and feeling better soon. Maybe i can return the favor to you and the folks by doing my own little AIO comparo!

It was a very very good comparison post and i thank you for sharing it. And you had the smarts to realize "hey, lemme look at it a year later". Well done. As a minimum you've restored my love for AIO's in certain applications!

Hope the wing mends well and you're flyin' soon!

I have tried Uber and I found it easy to use, although not as easy as XMT360. It has much more cut than XMT360 in my small test.

In fact, I compared Uber AIO against Uber Compound on a rental car hood and I couldnt tell the difference when I was done, they both made the finish virtually perfect.

Thank you!

Just got a bottle of DG501, Uber is coming, XMT360 already in possession. I can send samples if you wish. Just send me a pm with an address. It'll will be at least a week and a half before I can send them though.

Good information. Heard many accolades about Wolfgang products...all of them.

That would be the chemicals. Just like Klasse AIO can be used to remove oxidation.

I have used 501 on an orange pad though and that has removed fine swirls.
