Air compressor for rupes lhr75

You guys make me LOL :)

Unsubbing...

What the/Why the...?? No sales, huh? LOL :)
Out of curiosity...

-(I should have asked you early-on): Do you even own a RUPES lhr75?

-If so: What air compressor are you currently using with your RUPES lhr75?

-If not: What air compressor are you planning on purchasing?

Thanks.

Bob

I believe I will be capable of doing small area using the lhr75 with my 33 gallon compressor, but it will definitely not work if I do a huge area at once....

i would not bother at all inless you are goin to do what bob and dave say.useing a undersized compressor will drive you bonkers.you simply will not get the performance that the 75 offers.

My 3" GG just isn't strong enough.... I just thought the 75 will never bog down

Some things to think about:

wonder what the air requirments are for the 75?
IIRC it needs 85 psi. My 14 gallon tank, 200 psi running at about 90 output will get you through about one section before needing to wait for it to pump back up.

And the following from Rasky, no less...
I think the LHR75 requires a constant 90 psi. I have a 60gal IR which is more than enough but it still runs a lot. The 75 makes very quick work of RIDS but I really wish it was electric.

From anothert RUPES thread:

Total newb question as I am looking into the Bigfoot and the LHR 75

Just curious, as I am looking into the LHR 75. Will a 5 gallon air compressor set up at 120 psi work?
Simple answer-no. Watched Tom Weed last night try out his new LHR75 w/Kobalt 30 Gal unit and he was continuously waiting for the compressor to catch up.
Thanks 2old2change! Good to know. Guess I will be getting the GG 3 inch. Would have no use for a compressor that big yet.
Thanks again!
It needs to be able to deliver a constant 90psi....what is the CFM rating on it?
Good to know. Thank you for the input!

So, did any of you get the Rupes and use it with the smaller compressor? If so, what were the results?

Thanks
