Does anyone know if 5 or 7 gallon Craftsman portable air compressors are enough to power the Tornador. I just recently found out that the Sear's store near my home that sells refurbished Craftsman products at a discount..with the full warranty!!Im the MANI just came across this one, do you think that it would be enough to work with the Tornador? Craftsman 2 gal. Air Compressor with 17 pc. Accessory Kit - 15312 at Sears.com

You need to look at the specs of the Tornador and see how much SCFM it uses and see what the spec of the compressor is .The output of the compressor and how much SCFM of the Tornador is will be your answer

I just looked up the specs of the Tornador and they don't mention how much SCFM is needed. I'll try to call customer support tomorrow and see what they say.

Rusty...can you post what you find out? I am in the same boat. I have a small Husky compressor. I am curious if it is enough to power it.
 
i just got both products from the company and i use a 4.5 scfm and i run it at 90 and it works so so amzing i use a compressor from speedaire but there a little on the expesive side so as long as the compresser runs 4.5 scfm + or as long as it runs a min. of 90 psi your ready to pump out some snow=]
