Recently we had the pleasure of cleaning and waxing a very beautiful and special Cessna 210.

What makes this aircraft so special is that it is used to fly Angel Flight West missions.

Every time I have had contact with an Angel Flight volunteer I am struck by the caliber of person that volunteers in such an organization. From Office personnel to the pilots they are all of a caliber that is much too scarce in today's world. The owner and pilot of this aircraft, Mr Evans, fits into this category perfect. It was a pleasure to meet him and to have the opportunity to work on such a nice aircraft.

I wish I could show you some before pictures of a faded and neglected finish followed by photos of the shine that we slaved over the airplane for hours upon endless hours to create. Truth be told this Cessna was in VERY nice condition.

We started the service with an ONR wash.

We followed the wash with a coat of Meguiars #20 polymer sealant. We applied the sealant with G100 /PC dual action polishers.

I was thrilled to death to find some paint that needed some polishing. The belly of the airplane was understandably not quite as nice as the top portions. The belly is a hard area to access without "getting low" and is subjected to exhaust and oil. Not a problem......... Superior Shine handled it!

Not having a gleaming spinner is like not getting a cherry on top of your ice cream sundae!!

The spinner was polished with Meguiars NXT metal polish.

After a few hours of work it was time to step back and admire the work.

This is the "Don't hate me because I am beautiful" shot!

Mr. Evans (the tall gentleman in the white shirt) volunteers his time and aircraft without charge for non-emergency air travel for children and adults with serious medical conditions and other compelling needs.

The organization he volunteers for is Angel Flight West, Angel Flight West . Angel Flight West is a nonprofit, volunteer-driven organization.

Such missions may include flying a person to regular life saving treatments that maybe hundreds of miles from home or, transporting of tissue or organs to awaiting person for transplant.

We have partnered with Angel Flight West to keep the aircraft owned by these volunteers clean and freshly waxed.

What an incredible enjoyable day I had. You can see in the pictures the beautiful Southern California day we had. Sun shine and blue skies!!

I want to personally thank my two assistance, Alex, MOL member "Black150", and Gavin who is also an Angel Flight volunteer pilot.

Nice job! Those people do a great service to people in need.

Awesome...truly a superior shine and some superior people that provide a special service.

Wow! Even the smallest plane looks like it is a ton of work!

Props for the work and props for partnering. I have heard of them (or similar) before, and this is one of those OMG-this-is-truely-a-good-and-just-cause non profit.

BTW, I am quite envious of your weather...

Indeed an awesome group to be associated with.

This airplane was painted.

Thank you for the compliment. The spinner is bare aluminum, not chrome.

Here is another we did a few months ago.

Brother now you are doing something when you make aluminum look like chrome...Again very nice job....

Like I've said before you are a amazing detailer, and your idea to work with Angel flight spurred me to contact them and offer my services up here in Utah. I would challenge any other high caliber detailer to contact angel flight and offer up your services.

We all need to look at ways to give back our skills to those we can, and this is a GREAT way!

Cheer,
GREG
