Hi every one,

I'm compiling my first order from Autogeek and learning the basics of detailing. I live on an island in southeast Alaska and the weather, roads and salt air are tough on vehicles. Our new Tacoma will arrive here next month and I am determined to keep it in good shape. I'm buying my first machine and necessities based in part on info from this forum.
Glad to be here...:D

Welcome to Autogeek!

Aside from a machine kit, also consider good durable sealants, exterior protectants and take care of the undercarriage.

Welcome to AG. Detailing a car must be a fun job up in Alaska

Welcome to the Forum, considering your location I would highly recommend Klasse. You will have to share some pictures when you get the new truck.

Birdhunter, my family had an english setter that passed away 7 years ago, that looked just like yours.

Thanks for the welcomes,

I plan on using the Klasse twins with Collonite 476s and have read A LOT of posts on them but still have questions about application of both Klasse products on plastics and of course KSG removal. I think removal may take an experimental experience.

sal329 - yea, with over 100 inches of rain per year and a garage packed full of basement finishing material, I will be using a friends shop for those 8 to 12 hour waits. Standard procedure for many things in this rain forest!
