It's true gentlemen, white cars are quite difficult to make "POP," but I have finally accomplished the POP effect with a reflection to die for. This process was originally to prepare my car for winter, but I felt as though I should take it a step further and really make my car have a "Show-Car Finish!" This process took over 40 hours, as I started on last Tuesday and finished on Sunday evening! I felt as though all my hard-work should be rewarded so I got one of my good friend's from high school, a gentleman named Cesar Ghisilieri who owns his own photography company to do a professional photoshoot for my car! The pictures turned out phenomenal, and all in all, it was a great time working with Cesar (he was getting me to strike a few poses, followed by him pulling out all of his cool gadgets and using them in the shoot!). He really has a passion for what he does, and if anyone is somewhat around the GTA, he does outstanding work (not only car photoshoots but he is diverse and even does family shots). If you are interested, PM me and I will refer you to him! Anyways without further adieu, the pics will be coming very shortly so please enjoy!

For those wondering what the detailing process was:
1)Pre-foam
2)Wash using 2 Bucket Method
3)Dry using Metro Master Blaster
4)Clay car
5)Compounding using CCS Yellow Pad/Orange Flat Pad w/ M105
6)Polishing using a CCS White Pad w/ M205
7)Sealant was Wolfgang DGPS
8)Wax...thanks Bobby...Collinite 845...which is a superb wax, especially for white cars, but please refer to Nick's thread on how to properly use it and get it into a liquid form.

Hey Alex,

Those are some great photos for the scrap book!! :dblthumb2:

Try not to lose that beauty in the snow that's right around the corner....

Thanks for posting!! :props:

Hot water is what I use. Some say toss it in the microwave oven but I'm working on the courage for that....

Thanks Bobby, even my dad came out when it was done, and gave me a pat on the back! He's never seen it look like that before! Lol :P

Just want to thank-everyone on this website for all the help and knowledge I have today. If it wasn't for you guys, this project certainly would not have happened, so I thank-you all!
Cheers!

New GLI coming next year, so hope to do the same job on this car like the next one!
