I don't have any before shots, but I've always kept the car up since I bought it last January. Just got a Griot's wheel and Lake Country CCS pads over the winter. I've done some minor correction work on the hood, roof and the top of the rear bumper. Just recently received BFWD for my birthday and have already applied it, fantastic stuff. I also have the Klasse twins, Griot polish #2 & #3, Meg's UC, Griot Carnuaba stick, Griot Best of Show and Optimum Opti-seal. I've used various wheel cleaners and don't really have a favorite. Enjoy and be kind....

I miss my speed3 at times =(

Speed3 owner checking in! (genwon)

Very nice and glossy!! :props: I will hopefully be trying out some CG Blacklight/V7/Pete's 53 combo this upcoming fathers day weekend on my Cosmic Blue.

Hey Derek, welcome to posting pics of your ride, LOL! Pics do this car and its color NO justice, it just glows inperson and now that you've got yet another weapon at your disposal, well, the shine will go even further! My neck is just recovering from the WHIPLASH!

Car looks great, love the color...

For those that don't know, the word wheel is an old school term for a rotary buffer. It can be used generically to imply any machine buffer.

If you ever hear someone say,

I'm going to wheel my car

That means they're going to buff it out.

Mazda ftw!!!

Thanks Mike!

I need to add some pics with my DSLR so the "real" color of the car pops in the photos!

I think I said wheel cause I am older guy (41 this weekend) and I was a porter at a dealership bodyshop back in the day! :buffing: Old habits die hard!

Yeah Derek, use that fancy ass camera and let everyone see what that color REALLY looks like! I must tell everyone this, unless you've seen this color up close and personal, you have no idea how good it looks in person, stunning!

Had a 2005 Mazda 3. Loved the car but paint was very poor. Rust around the rear wheel wells after just three years and I've seen this on several older mazdas 3s that I've worked on. Hope it has improved. Beautiful car.

I have a 2012 ms3 in velocity red as well. Mazda is so underrated.

Very underrated, I seem to follow that kinda car company of late. First a Saab 9-3 and now my MS3. Most people didn't give my Saab a second glance but that thing was a hoot to drive. Helped that I had a tune, exhaust intake and downpipe on it! I recently went to a local "tuner" meet and it seemed if you weren't driving a Subaru or RHD drive Nissan no one really looked at your car, ha!

Hey Derek, how about some pics with the couple coats of DuraGloss spray wax on it now:Picture:

Still looking for those pics D, what, you waiting to do a photoshoot of both of your rides w/ pearl paint, LOL!
