So with a new truck comes new questions.
I have and Ford F-150 in the White Platinum Metallic Tri-Coat. I've had it about 3 months and when I first goat it home I did a full paint correction and sealant because it did have swirling and IDS here and there. I found that M205 on a yellow Meguiar's DA polishing pad removed the swirls but I had to break out a Meguiar's DA Microfiber cutting disc and M105 for the IDS. I tried M205 on the cutting disc but wasn't quiet aggressive enough.
Anyway after a few months of weekly washes and waterless washes a few times a week. I noticed upon close examination the paint is picking up a few minor scratches, most likely IDS.
Traditionally I do a full correction once per year involving more aggressive compounds as needed but I would rather keep up with it throughout the year.
My question is what would be a good all-in-one paint cleaner and polish that would help remove some of the minor defects and clean/polish the paint and I could use it say 3-4 times per year.
I plan to keep the vehicle 5-10 years so I don;t want to diminish the clear coat dangerously overtime.
Thanks
