Kind of fell off the detailing products wagon while I made some large life changes, I was still detailing but was sticking to what I knew, HD Speed, 835, etc etc. Looking to use an AIO on my gfs car, what is the new go to? I see HD One looks good any other suggestion?. Also, what pads are in? I use mostly GG Boss pads and Lake Country CCS I think is what they are.

Got sometime back in the shop and polished and Ceramic Coated my wheels with Gtechniq, not too bad for being out of practice.

Nice job on those wheels. Nothing wrong with HD Speed as your AIO..top it with Collinite and your good to go.

HD One is NOT an AIO. It is a compound/polish with no protective abilities.

My two go to AIOs are HD Speed and Blackfire One Step! Best two on the market IMO.

as far as pads, I stick with general polishing pads for AIOs.

McKee’s 360 for longevity. HD Speed/BF One Step for cutting/looks. Pinnacle Jeweling Wax or CarPro Essence for finishing/looks.

Sorry, didn’t mean ONE was in essence an AIO, whatever I use will be getting topped with 835 anyways.

Thanks

845? 885? Or is there a 835 I’m not aware of?

Sorry, I think my phone was auto correcting to 835 and I wasn’t catching it, 845 is what I meant. Thanks for catching that

I would look into topping your AIO with Sonax PNS. It takes the AIO's longevity to an extreme, quick and easy to apply, real nice look, excellent at self cleaning. I'm not into beading, so I don't know what to tell you about that. It's a product I didn't like at first. But after using it over Blackfire One Step, it's kind of near the top of my list.

What’s the longevity like vs 845, if you have experience with both. Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll def look into it

I have been getting into the Griots products and I like their One Step Sealant.

Yes, I’m really digging their BOSS line, those wheels were done with correcting cream and finishing sealant. I will look into the one step sealant, thanks!

Actually I've had the Collinite for a few years and have never used it. Always meant to. Just not into waxes (unless they're spray and wipes).

I think the longetivity of PNS over OneStep is probably longer than most people who use sealants need or would expect. The real selling part is the self cleaning. I have some on a white vehicle for probably 2-3 months now. It just rained and the vehicle looks like I washed and sealed it. Kind of the way people describe coatings - minus having to deal with a coating.

I don't know. It really works for me. Cruzcarwash had thread awhile back on using Essence followed by PNS. You might want to read it. I haven't tried that combo... yet.

PNS and 845 should both give you around 6 months, depending on climate of course.

There is always Collinites new 325 but I always apply 845 or 476 over it. But the newest collinite 390 pre wax cleaner may work also, then 845,476

What are people’s thoughts on carpro essence extreme gloss enhancer for an AIO ?

Which wheels are you referring to? The ones in OP? If so, you used the Boss Finishing Sealant, then coated them?

Yes, finishing sealant to “jewel” them down some, prep wiped then coated with gtechniq

Thanks for the reply. I’m a big fan of the Boss Creams, mainly the Correcting Creams. How’s your experience been using the Finishing Sealant on it’s own as an AIO?
