First time making my own thread but I love my flex3401. :hungry:
 
Well, I started a great post/thread about Kim Kardashian, lots of great follow-up comments ..and I think it got deleted.

Since vehicle-care-products/equipment/methods seem to be caught up in today's seemingly unending whirl-wind technological improvement phases, I can't help but find myself researching/perusing any and all avenues of information relating to this phenomenon. People's input on the AGO forum is one such source.

At the present I personally do not own a Flex 3401, but the reviews for this tool seem to lean towards the upside of a must-have piece of equipment.

Therefore, I would be most interested if you would further express and expand on the reason(s) why you love your Flex 3401.

For many years, I would always hand wash, clay bar, hand wax and polish my familys vehicles with high quality products. Because I was scared, I would burn the paint.
My friend was telling me about the flex3401 he owns, and he said it was almost impossible to burn the paint with a flex3401 and it is a lot more faster and quieter and powerful, and it saves time with out using a lot of pressure. Yes it was expensive, but it was well worth it.

Currently have and use mostly the PC 7424XP, Meg's G110, just bought the Makita 9227, borrowed the new Dewalt 849X from a buddy of mine...I think the Makita is better.

Since the advent of BC/CC paint systems, and through some early, and very enlightening trial-and-error events I had with them, I decided it would be better to delegate most of the old buffers/grinders [:)] to the netherlands of the garage attic or Dad's work shed.....If I remember correctly, an old Sioux (used to get parts from Snap-On tool trucks), Milwaukee's, an old Craftsman or two, and no doubt a couple of Black&Decker's.

Looking for something like the Flex 3401 that is supposed to "bridge" the gap between RO's and Circular/Rotaries. The clear-coat paint film is getting thinner and thinner. And not all vehicle owners are desiring "Show Car" status.
