Ive been lurking for a while now but now I can hopefully add my experiences to the forum! I have a pearl black colored SUV with NO garage/covered parking at home nor at work so you can feel my pain, lol :buffing:

I would highly recommend you get a Covercraft sun shade for your explorer. They fit the windshield perfectly and last longer than the soft fold up foil types.

Right on I'm on Maui. Do you order your products or get it on island? Maui got nothing, gotta order everything.

I feel no pain for you not having a garage. You live in paradise, I would trade my garage for that in a second to get out of this terrible state that is New Jersey. Haha

I LOVE Maui, i have frenz and family there, hope to retire there when i get old, lol..yah, i order everything online (amazon) cuz of the free shipping...most other detail sites only have free shipping to "continental 48 states", :mad: What site do you buy your stuff from? So far I have been using Collinite, Poorboys, Griots and Blackfire....

Only thing I buy locally is the Meguiars car wash shampoo from Wal-Mart.."Shea's Auto Detail" on Oahu sells some of the products but their markup is too high..price of paradise yah Hawaiian, lol :cool:

sometimes I order stuff from Ranny at Pakshak. Not sure their location on Oahu but they got some awesome MF towels and their prices for products are reasonable.

Have you tried going to Maui Auto Detailing Supplies in Wailuku Industrial? They have some stuff there. I've picked up some M205 and other things like that there. The shop is small, but the guys in there have always been really helpful to me. Their prices definitely aren't as good as what you can find online, but with what some places charge for shipping to Hawaii, it pretty much evens out.

Yes I get my squeeze bottles and chemical spray bottles from them. Also my cyclo pads. I tried some of the automagic stuff but not a fan. They are very helpful and small but they are more of a paint and auto body store than anything. I do like the automagic wash and wax.
