This came with a combo of factory and shipping defects. Very soft paint! Corrected with Meguiars m100 on Meguiar's cutting disc, polished with Sonax 04-06 on Rupes white pad. Coated with Mohs plus,Rim,View, and Tire.

Wow! So cool. Besides the defects, what did you think of the 4C overall fit and finish?

I found the fit of body panels to be so so, interior was very nice

Awesome. One of my favorite cars at the recent car show I attended, pity they didn't let us get too close (unlike Audi, Chevy and Mercedes, who let anybody into R8 Spiders and C7s every Merecedes-AMG).

PS don't you hate autocorrect?

Very nice work Mike, thanks for sharing your process and thoughts.

Kind Regards.

Cool, thanks. For a hand built Italian sports car a 4C would be fun on the weekends/ track - but brutal as a daily driver: stiff suspension, no power steering, no muffler, engine directly behind your head... for the same $ you could get a new Vette or Porsche Cayman.

Hey Mike,

I edited your post and hit the [ENTER] key after each picture to force them to line up one over the other.

Just a tip for anyone inserting pictures... after inserting one picture hit the [ENTER] twice and that will force the next picture to line up vertically under the previous picture and having a blank line in-between pictures makes viewing easier on the eyes.

Saw these were hosted on Photobucket... hope they don't disappear like most pictures on Photobucket do with a little time.

For sure you did very good work with very good products, but this kind of colour is beastly. Not a red or dark red like Ferrari but carrot red (I call it oxidized red) they call it something like Rosso Alfa, Rosso Competizione.
You gave this paint more glare than it deserves.

How thin do you reckon the paints are on the composite panels?

Thanks Mike! Very thin on edges, defects went from thumb prints to solvent pop to zipper scratches from shipping cover.
