Alternatives for D114?

Nick, pretty, pretty please make
this new product have a minimum
of a 1:32 dilution ratio.

D114, to me, was so great because
I used it at 1:128 and it performed
marvelously for so many applications.

I know PBMG doesn't make a lot of
"concentrates" available to consumers,
but when one is detailing for money
it's extremely important to use products
that aid in making a profit.

I use a lot of the Meguiar's professional line
because almost everything is a concentrate
and dilutes very well.
Conversely...
Perhaps there is a "profit problem" for car-
care products manufacturers/re-sellers/etc.
that arises because, often, there is such a
long interval between purchases of their gallon
jugs of product concentrates (such as D114)...?

I'm looking for a spray detail that doesn't leave anything behind. Would be nice if it comes on concentrated formula.

3D has one called "Spray Detailer" but it is not sold on AG and it is not concentrated.

I am a fan of D114.
I use it professionally and personally.
However, I don't find the product to be special.
I also find that more product is necessary for dilution ratios, not less, for product performance.

In other words, there are plenty of other products out there that are as good, and better, than D114.
Check out products from Duragloss and Griots Garage.
I think you will be very happy.

Are you sure?!?!

I think those you mentioned leave some polymers behind. I want something that is referred as "body shop safe".

Yes, I am a fan of D114, lol.
While D114 is not special in the polymer based product it is intended to be, it is a typical Meguiars quality product that brings that special and original Meguiars shine.
It also comes in gallon size and can be diluted down for cost effectiveness.
It is excellent on wheels as an LSP.
It is excellent on interior plastics and vinyl.
Etc.....

I think those you mentioned leave some polymers behind. I want something that is referred as "body shop safe".
Body shop safe refers to silicone's and solvents more than anything else.
I don't think it has much to do with anything related to polymers.
That, of course, depends on the polymer type and chain configuration.

The entire purpose of polymer based products is to in fact leave polymers behind.
Polymers are the protection as they link together as well as bond to the surface.
There are countless polymer configurations, some stronger than others.
The polymer chains in the typical detail spray, spray wax, and rinseless washes are weak by comparison to polymer chains is coatings, for example.

While D114 is not special
in the polymer based product
it is intended to be

are you talking about?

•News flash:
I. Silicones are polymers.

II.
a.) Solvents' basic concept is:
likes dissolve likes.

b.) "Polymer Solvents" basic concept is:
like-vectors dissolve like-vectors.

^^^ No...Not really! ^^^
