It's on backorder and I want a prouduct that specifically will restore rubber weatherstripping around doors, windows, etc...

What I use is Wurth Rubber Care. I has the same uses as Gummi Pflege so I would be a great alternative. It is available locally so that is what I use but is seems that this is on back order at AG too. I know you have loyalty to AG but if you want to purchase it soon look at other venders.

Wurth Rubber Care Gel Stick

Meguiar's M40, or Aerospace 303 would also be great alternatives.

I use 303 Aerospace Protectant on any and all rubber seals and it does a great job. The only difference between the performance of 303 and 1Z is that 303 is not quite as long lasting.

I like to use the 303 Aerospace Protectant on all of my rubber seals but we have a lot of customers that like to use the Wurth Rubber Care Gel Stick.

I use TR..... "restores" and conditions the rubber and grainy trim and will protect it from drying out again

Found a bottle of Gummi Pflege. :)

Very rare that I have to buy outside of autogeek!!!

I love the Einszett Stick ... it has a huge following. I might try the Wurth as a backup.

I bought a bottle of Gummi Pflege because I thought with it's applicator it would be faster and easier to apply to rubber seals than M40.

I used it once and went back to M40 and a MF towel. I can do all the rubber on the car twice as fast that way.

On my S2K I use, according to factory recommendation, Shin-Etsu silicone grease. It keeps the seals most and prevents sticking.

GP will last 2-3 x's longer than M40, so you might do M40 twice as fast, but you'll have to do it twice as often. So, which wins?

How long in months or weeks does M40 and Gummi Pflege last? The GF bottle just says "Use regularly for optimal care and protection."

As mentioned on another thread, I can remove the sponge tip and use GF with a MF to bring my process back up to speed.
