I took on my buddies aluminum wheels off his sand rail. Figured no problem. The problem is getting in the these to make all the magic happen. I bought the wolfgang aluminum kit in preparation for these. But they turned out to be a bigger pain in the butt then I ever thought. I'm pleased with the kit, except to remove the polishes. All I had to do this, was my flex DA. Unfortunately I didn't have the right backing plate for my rotary to fit the wool pads. Plus with how deep the rear wheels go I'm not sure I could reach much. Looking for advice on what other products or devices to possibly use to make this simpler or less painful manual labor. I've spent way to much time on these wheels hand polishing the damn things. Here's some PIC'S.

Help is appreciated. I hope this is in the right subject.

I know with this not being a show car it's not a big deal. It's a sand rail, it gets abused. I'm hoping they last one season like this. Here's the fronts, which weren't nearly as bad since the sand just doesn't sit there and spin in them.

OOOPS! My car ended up in the mix.

Help appreciated anyways.

Mothers Powerball and power polish for metal have worked nice for me.

I have billet aluminum wheels (along with many engine parts) on my 1967 Fairlane. The billet is lots of work. I use Mother's Billet polish and a Mother's polishing ball.

Would love to hear if there are some better products for billet.
