am i crazy for buying cg proj j97??

Not everyone wants a detail setup, some dudes just wanna wax their Bentleys with $1,000 waxes.

:iagree:It's relative to your worth. Spending a grand on a wax is like spending $20 bucks on a pot of wax for some.

Get yourself some blackfire black ice,wg fusion, souveran, dodo waxes, zymol glasur, and I think those will get you hooked on detailing, and save you $$$

I've seen the video where they use this on a car and the case i more hyped up than the wax. So if you want to spend $1000 on a wax, go somewhere else.

I don't know if this guy ever bought this or not. But he was "new to detailing" / first post around 4/2012, and made his last post around 8/2012 - about a year ago.

So if he did actually buy it, its probably collecting dust on a shelf someplace.

You are wasting your money. As stated earlier by other rational people, go buy a bunch of good stuff. This wax is no better than any other wax. If it is, prove it.

Well first, congrats on getting any wax(s) you want! Im the MAN :buffing:

Second, the item is $153 cheaper on chemical guys offical website.

I haven't seen any reviews or writeups about it, but really haven't looked hard (this wax doesn't hit my as something I would research for, since I won't buy it)

For me I say, get the wax if you really want to get it.

Personally I would get $1000 worth of other products, some
-Pinnacle Souveran Paste Wax
-Wolfgang Füzion Carnauba Polymer Estate Wax
and many, many, many more items...

Last personal note: I do have Fuzion and love it - For me personally thats really all I wish to spend on the high scale for wax. I would rather buy $1000 worth of different types of products. ie. mirofibers, polishes, waxes, sealants, brushes, compounds etc etc.

Happy shopping! :Picture:

This exactly!! The only caveat being if you already are extremely well stocked on all your others tools and products (ie- you need NOTHING else!!) AND you have and extra grand to spend because you got it like that, then go for it.
