Am I damaging my expensive waxes with ONR?

So all shampoos degrade waxes and this is not limited to ONR?

Bingo. This is another detailing fallacy, the term "LSP safe" is not digital - almost every product will degrade your LSP to an extent. The question is not whether it will remove an LSP or not (reliable LSP removal is extremely rare, despite what many people will try to tell you), it is how much it will degrade it. The problem is that very few detailers take this on board so they try a product once, say that it didn't remove their LSP (assuming that it doesn't leave a surfactant residue, which confuses people...) and conclude it is LSP safe. The fact that it is extremely aggressive and will remove an LSP with a handful of uses is irrelevant so there is little distinction between super strong caustic cleaners and others which you could use all year and would only do minimal harm.
 
The second you rub the paint with anything you've degraded the LSP. Strange irony.
