I live in Georgia, with the drought were having I'm trying to conserve water so I'm not washing my car, I do however quik detail about once a week.
I switch out using a different QD spray each time, a friend
said I should stick to just one.
What do you think? Is it safe to use different brands each time, since I'm not washing the car.
Thanks.

Att: Sorry I asked this in New Products first, I realized what I had done too late.

I think that using a QD as a substitute for washing is doing more harm than good...

Now a rinsless wash is a different story..look into Optimum No Rinse..maybe buy some distilled water and fill up a bucket and as said above use the Optimum..check into it and see if that's legal and that is what I would do

It wouldnt matter what QD, but I am willing to bet that you are marring the paint with QDing just once a week. Get yourself some Optimum No-Rinse, Poorboys Spray and WIpe, or Chemical GUys ONE. All of these reduce the chances of marring compared to a regular QD.

If you insist QDing, do it every afternoon to be sure that there isnt excessive grime build-up.

Thanks for fast replies, I will check the products you suggested.

Why don't you just switch to rinseless car wash? DP 4-in-1 or Optimum No Rinse.

Like others I would use a rinseless wash instead of a QD if I wanted to conserve water. I would QD it after the rinseless wash. Switching the QD you use after washing sould not be a problem.
