I don't know about everyone else, but the 1st three offerings on the "12 days of Christmas Sale = a load in my pants.

Makes me wonder have I had too much eggnog? Or Am I totally whacked?

so you are saying you had too much eggnog...saw the first three offerings and took a $hit in your pants?

a bit confused about your post?

Glad you have had some good luck with the first three days. Unfortunately I'm still waiting on a deal to temp me.

i agree with the OP. after 3 days, still nothing I need or am even tempted by. too many chemicals, not enough accessories. seems like so much of it is directed toward the weekend warrior and not the professional who cleans 20 cars a week.

There has been nothing in this sale so far compelling or even tempting me to pull the trigger. Hopping it gets better as we approach the holiday.

I agree there hasn't been too much that is tempting to buy yet. Today was like "clear out Pinnacle day." I will say that it's awesome that there's a sale in the first place and that so many products are on sale each day versus just one or two.

Maybe they're just saving the best stuff for the end.

That brings to mind a poll I clicked into earlier today, I think it was on MOL. Was asking if you were a pro, did some work on the side, only your own cars, etc. Just less than 9% were pros. Over half were working only on their own cars, followed in 2nd by those that did a little side work here and there. Given those numbers I'd be willing to bet they would be a little more skewed towards the 'pro' here on AG, but I bet it's not twice as much as there. Be interesting to see a poll here just for snits-n-giggles.

call it what you want. doesnt matter to me. i just come here for fun really. to me, i havent found anything for the first 3 days that is even close to enticing. might be to you, not to me. no problem. really, the prices on this site still arent what I can get from my local distibutor so probably wont ever buy anything anyway. no problem. just come here to help others find their way. not here to shop. and my lot is more quantity over anything else. so $60 bottles of pinnacle wax is not something that my customers care about. simple, quick, $100 full details with full shampoo, quick polish and hand wax is all they care about. dont really do the 5 step correction very often. its about quantity of jobs. actually, its really about car sales cause thats where the money is at. you can work your self to death detailing cars all week for $2,000 but you can sell a few cars a week and make $10,000 easily for doing almost no work at all. thats the tip of the day folks: SALES IS WHERE ITS AT. detailing pays the bills, but sales pays for the condo in hawaii twice a year. dont work yourselves to death folks. life is short.

Well thanks for your input !! You should realize that this site is not only meant for "weekend" warrior types to guys and gals who detail for a living and all others in between.
I could maybe find cheaper product prices elsewhere but the customer service and support you get here are top notch. Not to mention the forum which is a free service provided to us.
Maybe you should take your vast knowledge of "sales" and car detailing back to your condo in hawaii !!
