Am I using collinite 845 wrong?

I was never much of a fan of collinite. It's cheap and has good protection but the shine falls flat in a month. And in the case of the op, it can turn into a process just to get it on.

Disagree with this 100%. 845 is by far the easiest thing I've ever applied/removed. And the shine I get (on light gray metallic) is amazing and lasts for months with proper upkeep.

so even 4 drops for entire hood is still too much?
So if less is used that would prevent the sweating. Which is really the perfect word to describe it!
I was shocked to see that even after the ultimate quick detail took it off, it still came back

Yes. WAY too much.

"4 penny-sized drops" would cover my roof, hood, and probably both fenders of my full-sized truck.

Never had a problem with Royal blue VT though, just didn't like it for brightening the paint, I prefer 915 to it.

I'm going to throw another idea out there. Was it right around the dew point when you removed the 845? Sounds like that may be the problem as I had it happen to me a few times.
