Amount of products per detail

Do any of you keep track of how much of each product you use on average per detail? Do you charge accordingly, or simply have a package cost?

If you keep track of how much product you use per detail, please include some examples in your reply.

Surely some of you monitor your product usage. If for nothing else to know when to order more.

I'm sure there are several detailers on this forum who do enough work to really go through large amounts of products.

Usually the cost of materials (unless something like Opti-Coat/Guard is used) is miniscule relative to the labor involved. As far as reordering, I think most people can tell how much is in the bottle...most of the pro operations here aren't so large that the "boss" isn't involved in touching the products anymore.

Yep, that's why I intend to leave this one go. The two threads were supposed to be about different things...oh well. I didn't do a very good job asking the right questions I guess.
