So early into Mothers Day Weekend,a friend from a local racing group I'm a part of brought me his newest toy. A gorgeous 2022 C8 2LT Trim Level Corvette finished in Amplify Orange Tintcoat.

The car was only wearing 250 miles but with those miles came some pretty harsh dealer prep as it was a swirled out mess. I'm horrible about before pics but I'll let Casey describe the very noticeable damage that needed to be corrected.

The approach for me remained a New Car Prep and Protect package with some flexibility if I needed additional time. Good news is I did not as I was able to fully correct the paint to what one would expect this vehicle to be wearing in good time.

I'll leave Casey to share or determine how long he might keep this one before his Z06 arrives but regardless, I upgraded the ceramic coating from a base product to the 3 year system from GYEON and it's outstanding. I just KNEW the formulation would be right for this color and well, I'll let the pics speak for themselves. This is one car and color that photographs as well outside as it does under controlled lighting inside.

Many Thanks to Casey for his continued trust in my work. This is now the third vehicle I've worked on for him over the years and I do appreciate his trust and kind words shared about my work over the many years we've known each other. Enjoy this beautiful car and all it's glory! I've included a brief sound clip in here too for those that have a decent set of speakers connected

Car was polished with a Flex 3401 and XCE polishers wearing Lake Country Orange cutting pads. Product was GYEON Primer as it mates up well with the NEW formulation of MOHS EVO that was used here. A single layer is all it takes to add some nice protection and a super slick surface finish. Wheels were coated with GYEON Q2 RIM.

Reflection city. Those garage shots are always wild.

Bad ass car, excellent color choice on the owner's part.

Those garage shots are amazing. Looks like you forgot to dry it.

Beautiful work.

Great work and write up!
