I'll first start by saying I'm a noob. I own a wax spreader. I do have a porter cable on my Christmas wish list, after all I have learned, but still a newb. I have a 2013 Ford F150 4WD XLT CREW CAB ECOBOOST and I decided to join the Amsoil club for a free trial membership. I bought oil and changed it. (Good reviews there) as an afterthought I Boughy some of the rustproofing spray because I cried when my previous 95 ford rusted out. And I got under the truck and sprayed the metal stuif. On a truck, the frame shows in the wheel wells, and the leaf springs. And its taller so it shows more than I realized. Also the rear differential is seen by lower tailgating cars and even the front suspension.
The point is, now after I wax my truck ALL of it looks good. Didn't realize it, but the frame is a shiny black! I like it. I sprayed the frame a couple months ago and it holds up pretty well! I would recommend as a quick tip!
Now, as I am a newb. I am open to comments and suggestion on what you pro's might do instead. But, I'll throw out as quick and easy as that was... I don't know what could be improved! I'm sure there are other similar products, I'm not die hard Amsoil. But I will say, I like this stuff.
I also found myself using it on the outdoor lawnmower, and firepit as protection for the winter. And tons of other uses.
Hope this helps someone, and let me know otherwise. Thanks to all, enjoy reading the forum.
