lucas oil from what ive seen compared to royal purple, pure garbage.

and like mentioned, the only additive for any vehicle worth putting in your rig is putting deisel kleen in a full tank of deisel.
 
I am not a fan of the XL line of oils, mostly because they make better ones. I would look at ASM (the 0W20)
 
A good product to use once in awhile is Seafoam, run it through the brake booster line or pcv valve, put a lil in gas tank.
 
you think rp oil is bad...you should see what their synthetic mtf does to bearings, haha. i dont know why that stuff is just not good.
 
Since everyone is offering their .02 .... I have been an avid user of Mobil 1 full synthetic since 18. Thats 20 years and NEVER had a single mechanical brakedown of the motor or powertrain. Call it what you will as my cars are newer, maintained religiously, or just plain lucky but never needed a motor tear down to date. Dont care whats in it, dont care if its snake oil, but it has given me piece of mind. I also can find it readily available and on sale at about every corner including Wally World.
