And yet another newbie

Hi everyone I'm just lurking trying to learn how to make detailing my vehicles and motorcycle a little easier! After I learn a little I'll be purchasing a buffer of some kind more than likley the PC but I read a lot of good about the Flex
but for a maybe 3 time a year use not sure I want to spend the extra!?

Welcome to AG. If you can afford it get the flex. Otherwise the PC with 4" pads will work fine as well. Lots of reading on here and you will learn all you need to make your rides look the best
